Nos coeurs et nos prières sont avec Israël et son Peuple qui font face à un tel cataclysme. 


Parmi bien d'autres, l'Organisme «International Fellowship of Christians and Jews of Canada» (dont nous faisons partie) qui oeuvre auprès de Juifs démunis en Israël et ailleurs, a entrepris
une levée de fonds spéciale en vue d'apporter une aide, en ce temps dramatique vécu par le Peuple élu de Dieu.  La lettre reçue du directeur de cet organisme, le rabbin
Yechiel Eckstein, disait ceci :


The largest and deadliest fire in Israel's history is raging out of control in the drought-ridden north. As I am sending this message to you, 42 people have been killed, homes have been burned,
and 15,000 residents have been evacuated, leaving with only the clothes on their backs. Sadly, another 17,000 are being evacuated in short order, and more are likely to follow.

Prime Minister Netanyahu stated that, "We are dealing with a disaster that is unprecedented and of international proportions."

The Fellowship is already on the ground in fire-ravaged areas providing food, medicine, and temporary shelter through our Guardians of Israel outreach. As the fires rage on, the
immediate needs grow. Israel urgently needs your help to fund these critical efforts and to provide for and protect all those
affected.

I know of your deep love for Israel and her people — and that is why I turn to you now. Please help us to provide emergency lifesaving aid right now. And please keep Israel and everyone affected
by this horrific disaster in your prayers.
